Yves Klein (28 de abril de 1928 - 6 de junio de 1962) artista francés considerado como una importante figura dentro del movimiento neo-Dadaísmo. La mayoría de sus primeros trabajos eran pinturas monocromáticas en una amplia variedad de colores. A finales de los años 50, los monocromos de Klein se centraban en un color azul intenso, que patentó como el International

Klein Blue o Azul Klein ( ahora tambien llamado azul style por grandes firmas de moda que a decidido tambien ponerle ese sobrenombre) Internacional (IKB, =PB29, =CI 77007).

Yves Klein (28 April 1928 - 6 June 1962) was a French artist and is considered an important figure in post-war European art. New York critics of Klein's time classify him as neo-Dada, but other critics, such as Thomas McEvilley in an essay submitted to Artforum in 1982, have since classified Klein as an early, though "enigmatic," Post-Modernist.

Yves Klein, né à Nice le 28 avril 1928, mort à Paris le 6 juin 1962, est un artiste français (peinture, performance) . Malgré une carrière artistique assez courte (1954-1962), il est considéré comme un des plus importants protagonistes de l'avant-garde artistique d'après-guerre. Il est notamment connu pour son bleu (IKB pour International Klein Blue), qu'il appliqua sur de nombreuses œuvres (toiles, sculptures, éponges...)
