LA VIDA EN ROSA. Un retrato impresionista del icono de la música francesa Edith Piaf, cuya vida trágica parece tomada de una novela del siglo XIX. La película recorre su trayectoria, la cual se inició en los barrios bajos del distrito Belleville de París hasta alcanzar el éxito en Nueva York. La historia de una mujer que creció en medio de la pobreza, rodeada de espectáculos callejeros, prostitutas y padrotes, quien, gracias a su apasionada lucha por sobrevivir y amar, se convirtió en una estrella mundial.

Marion Cotillard stars as Piaf. The title La Vie en Rose comes from Piaf's signature song. The film won five Césars, including one for Best Actress, and Cotillard won an Academy Award for her performance, marking the first time an Oscar had been given for a French-language role.
